Barbara's classes at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Festival:
SATURDAY 1:30-4:30 p.m.
My Signature (hand embroidery)
Presented by Barbara Crawford
Class fee: $30 Kit fee: $20
Barbara's signature on all her work is hand embroidery. It’s an art that has been set aside for machine embroidery. There is nothing more beautiful and leaves a lasting impression as hand embroidered leaves and vines, lazy daisies, chain stitch, blanket stitch, feathering, and French knots. It is Barbara's favorite detail on her appliqué work and needle felting works and even quilts. In this workshop you will make a small appliqué wall hanging that embroidery is added to. You'll learn all the wonderful stitches using perle cottons and wool felts and you will receive an embroidery chart to take with you for a helpful reminder if you need it. It is a truly inspiring and relaxing class.
Bring normal sewing supplies to class!
